Hi, On a Dell D630 running Jaunty 64bit, after resuming from suspend, the openoffice documents I had opened before suspend are extremely slow when scrolling (taking several seconds before refreshing, and occasionally becoming inactive (darkening with Compiz enabled) for a few more seconds. Things work fine as soon as I switch from Compiz to Metacity. Also, it is enough to close and reopen the misbehaving file for things to return to normal. I have found an expired and unanswered question in launchpad refering to the same problem: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openoffice.org/+question/69090 ProblemType: Bug Architecture: amd64 Dependencies: DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Package: openoffice.org None [modified: /var/lib/dpkg/info/openoffice.org.list] ProcEnviron: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: openoffice.org Uname: Linux 2.6.28-13-generic x86_64 UnreportableReason: This is not a genuine Ubuntu package ** Affects: xorg (Ubuntu) Importance: Medium Status: Incomplete ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug -- Openoffice slow after suspend using Compiz https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/397880 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
