[email protected], this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ .
If it remains an issue, could you please run the following command in the development release from a Terminal (Applications->Accessories->Terminal), as it will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this report: apport-collect -p xorg REPLACE-WITH-BUG-NUMBER Please note, given that the information from the prior release is already available, doing this on a release prior to the development one would not be helpful. I am using a Sony Vaio VPCW212AD AKA VPCW212AX running a Atom N450 (1.6Ghz Solo) with 2GB ram, Intel 320 40GB SSD (which I put in recently...) Does natty have known issues with SSD's? This problem only emerged recently and has only happened twice in the past week or so. I recently was told in a reply from a youtuber that the 64Bit version of Natty works better than the 32Bit with the Atom N450... Although I can't see how it makes sense.. Do you perhaps know if the 64Bit works better with the Atom line-up?
