Title:
Nautilus does not save all user settings "show/hide sidebar"

Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
Nautilus saves some user settings and not others.
For instance, it saves my preference for list view.
But it does not save my preference for hiding the sidebar.
It should save all user preferences.
