Manual muting of Speaker and Headphone works even if Auto-mute is enabled. I am satisfied with the current behavior.

Status in “alsa-driver” package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: Note: not using pulseaudio I have a mixer for speakers in alsamixer, but it is not effective, when a plug is inserted in headphone jack. I want this to happen: Speaker mixer should be effective in alsamixer always. It should be configurable, what happens to internal speaker sound, when a plug is inserted in headphone jack. BTW. I tried pulseaudio, but it does not work there either. It is even more confusing and there are also other issues why I am not using pulseaudio.
