Is this really a bug in saucy then? if 12.04.4 works then saucy will work too..

Try to adjust the display resolution with "xrandr" in a Terminal Expected result - Resolution could be adjusted. Actual result 1. When you try to adjust it via the "Display" applet, the following error message will pops-up: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.UnknownMethod: No such interface `org.gnome.SettingsDaemon.XRANDR_2' on object at path /org/gnome/SettingsDaemon/XRANDR 2.
