You need to restart IBus first.

Ibus-anthy: 1.5.3-1
How to reproduce:
Install ibus, ibus anthy
Open ibus-setup
Choose custom input method -> Japanese -> Attempt to choose ibus-anthy
Result: The input method is not there.
