Moreover, each time I set it back to French, dragging both French (France and Canada) and some English (UK & US) on top of the default English in the language selection list, default English comes back on top at next login. I even tried to modify my .pam_environment (in console mode) and the /etc/environment to set fr_FR as the default, no way: gnome-language- selector seems to force default English as default at each connection! Hopefully, I do understand English, but this is turning me mad.
