This is not a bug with the release upgrade process, rather with the
system after the release upgrade.  It sounds like an issue with X.

  firefox crashes and kicks out to log-in window since saucy upgrade

Status in “xorg” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Just downloaded Saucy...frozen at cups-ppdc, restarted...can see newer
  icons, but tried to use firefox...only get a few windows in and I get
  kicked out to login window...this happens on my own account and when I
  log in as guest.
