Thank you for your bug report but the software you are using is not nautilus, looks like it might be nemo or one of the nautilus forks made previous cycle

When using Icon View or Compact View in both panes (in any combination), the views' background change to the same grey colour as the divider, and the divider becomes invisible. The divider is still there and works as intended, but one has to hover the mouse around and wait for the pointer to change in order to find it. The invisible divider can make it difficult to see whether two panes are shown or just one. See screenshot. I'm not sure how to fix this. One easy fix is to use a white background for Icon View and Compact View similar to that of the List View; this would make the grey divider reveal itself. However the grey background is rather nice =) $ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 13.10 Release: 13.10 $ apt-cache policy nautilus nautilus: Installed: 1:3.8.2-0ubuntu2.2 Candidate: 1:3.8.2-0ubuntu2.2 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/1287817/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
