Title:
[Gazelle Professional, Intel Haswell HDMI, Digital Out, HDMI] Playback
problem, built in speakers work but no audio over HDMI

Status in System76:
  In Progress
Status in “alsa-driver” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
The laptop came with Ubuntu 13.04 installed and when I installed the Intel
drivers from 01.org there was audio over the HDMI port.
With Ubuntu 13.10 it has since been impossible to get the sound over the HDMI
port. When I downgrade to 13.04 with the 01.org drivers it works again.
In windows 7 the audio over HDMI works perfectly as well.
