Title:
Troubles after update from 13.04 to 13.10
Status in “xorg” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
When I did update the system from 13.04 (unity sidebar stuff did work
fine) to release 13.10, I see mine login prompt and after fill in the
password I get Black Screen.
WORKAROUND: I did try the followed command: start unity-panel-service
This was giving me back the toolbar at top. Then I did automated this task,
it keeps working in the Gnome Flashback modus, but when you now logoff and try
again the other modus Gnome Flashback (No Effects) then it is there not working
anymore. If I disable again the automated command, then it works back in the No
effects Gnome Flashback but not again anymore into the normal Gnome Flashback.
