Public bug reported: I have a HP LaserJet P1102 and it worked just fine in 13.04 but when I upgraded it 13.10 (both upgrade and fresh install) it stopped keeping the details correctly after a reboot. Just upgraded to 14.04 same problem.
It will print just fine if I delete the printer, and reinstall (using the pre-installed drivers). BUt this must be done every single time the system reboots. ** Affects: cups (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to cups in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1293010 Title: Lose HP LaserJet every time system reboots Status in “cups” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: I have a HP LaserJet P1102 and it worked just fine in 13.04 but when I upgraded it 13.10 (both upgrade and fresh install) it stopped keeping the details correctly after a reboot.
