Title:
  Window size in geometry option is ignored

Status in “gedit” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  When I run

  $ /usr/bin/gedit --geometry=600x800+100+100

  (with no previous instance of Gedit running) the window is positioned
  accordingly but its size is not 600x800 but instead the last size of
  the window is retained.

  Expected behaviour:

  The size of the window should be 600x800.

  System information:

  $ apt-cache policy gedit
