Title:
Mouse Pad unusable on HP-DV7, Right Click and multitouch

Status in “xserver-xorg-input-synaptics” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: xinput

  ubuntu-10.10-desktop-i386.iso 2.6.35-28-generic-pae #49-Ubuntu SMP
  xinput: Installed: 1.5.2-1
  HP DV7-4270

  There are two problems here:
  1) Right click is totally broken, it does not work at all, instead it sees a
Right click as being a Left click

  2) The implementation of multi-touch makes the mouse pad very
unusable. the mouse cursor jumps around crazily. every time you even
slightly brush the pad with another finger. I would much prefer to be
able to disable multi-touch altogether, but don't see a control panel
setting to do that. Playing with sensitivity did not help.
