Title: SynapticsTouch Pad V 1.03U2 not recognized as a touchpad, only a simple mouse Status in “xserver-xorg-input-synaptics” package in Ubuntu: Expired Bug description: On my new HP Spectre 13 x2 laptop/tablet, the base's touchpad is not recognized by Ubuntu's "Touchpad configuration" as a touchpad. synclient also does not recognize it as a touchpad, though xinput shows it as a "SynapticsTouch Pad V 1.03U2".
