This bug affects me too. I also noticed that lockscreen reappeared once I had text input focused on chat application, and while I was trying to enter password it entered it into chat app and sent my password to other party (while all I could see was just a lockscreen!) This bug is severe for security reasons.

And system locks screen again automatically when you unlock it. Ubuntu 14.04 unity-greeter 14.04.6-ubuntu1 Steps to reproduce this bug: 1. Leave system inactive for 5 minutes (or more). 2. After 5 minutes of inactivity (5 minutes is default timeout for screen locking) screen fades to black (turns off) and system locks. 3. After screen locking just move mouse or press any key. 4. Lock screen (unity-greeter) appears with password prompt. 5. Don't type password and again leave system inactive for 5 minutes (or more). 6. After 5 minutes of inactivity on lock screen screen doesn't turn off. 7. Enter your password on the lock screen and unlock system. 8. System unlocks but in 5-10 seconds it locks again (because of 5 minutes inactivity on lock screen). 9. Enter your password on the lock screen again and unlock system 2nd time. 10. Now you can continue to work with system. Expected: On step 6: 6. After 5 minutes of inactivity on lock screen screen turns off again (without locking, because it already locked). On step 8: 8. System unlocks fine without automatic 2nd screen locking in 5-10 seconds.
