I use Wally desktop switcher. That began to happen after I upgraded to 13.10. Nautilus version now is 3.8.2. I read that drawing the desktop dropped from nautilus and that feature is provided by a patch in recent versions. I suspect that it's related to patch. Would anybody test it with wally wallpaper switcher and post the result?
