changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem
may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if
you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. When you test
it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running
apport-collect <bug #> and any other logs that are relevant for this
particular issue.

  Rhythmbox has issues editing ID3 tags

Status in “rhythmbox” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: rhythmbox

  Rhythmbox has issues editing ID3 tags (tested in maverick, natty)

  -Rhythmbox can't change all ID3 tags (does not change Track number, disc 
number, year, BPM) exept for Title
  -Rhythmbox can't replace an ID3 tag with empty space (no tag)
  -Entering "4" as the genre and restarting rhythmbox gives a tag of "Disco"
