Chris, as mentioned above, my host is a modified Ubuntu 12.04 (with a newer 3.13 kernel), amd64. i'm afraid i cannot post exact build details because it's an internal corporate build. my player version is 6.0.2 build-1744117, guest os is a vanilla 12.04 amd64
