Public bug reported:

On Trusty, I was unable to blank a Sony 2X BD-RE Bluray disc with a HP
BH40N Bluray disc rewriter/ Burner

Steps:
1. Open Brasero, select tool -> blank
2. Click the "Blank" button to wipe the disc
You will see the progress bar running, and status changing from
Blanking -> Ejecting Medium -> Success

A prompt dialog will pop-up, saying that the disc was successfully blanked.
But it's not.

I got the same result when trying to blank it with the following command:
brasero --blank=/dev/sr0 (with the volume unmounted)
