Gnome desktop (gdm) By using an encrypted home directory (ecryptfs-utils), the users pictures ('~/.face' respectively '/usr/share/pixmaps/faces/**') are not shown at login-screen, as it is default without encryption. This seems to be a general bug of 'ecryptfs-utils'.
