This issue related by connectivity to vpn using pptp. I have found this issue about some days ago. In my opinion, it is started when I agreed with some of ubuntu updates.

But it's spamming the syslog, making it very difficult to find any other thing there, and it's generating constant writes to disk, and an unnecessarily large syslog file.
