Normally this printer should automatically get set up via USB with the Epson PM 3000c gutenprint driver.
1) Which version of Ubuntu are you using, run the following command from a terminal to add some usefull information about your printing setup to include that an other info: apport-collect 1358602 2) Please provide the following information: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingPrintingProblems#USB_printer 3) Can you manually add the printer in system-config-printer selecting Epson PM 3000c. Please open a terminal window and run the command: system-config-printer --debug 2>&1 | tee log.txt After that attach the file log.txt to this bug report. Do not compress the file.
