> So you have to move your BrowsePoll directives into /etc/cups/cups- browsed.conf
As I said, this has already been done by some upgrade script. The issue is that the result does not work. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to cups in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1365935 Title: BrowsePoll directive stopped working after 12.04 -> 14.04 upgrade Status in “cups” package in Ubuntu: Won't Fix Bug description: Hi, I just upgraded my system from Ubuntu 12.04 to 14.04.1, which broke printing. Previously I had a directive "BrowsePoll printserver" in my cupsd.conf, where printserver is the CUPS server managed by my IT staff : this way I could use both the printing queues managed by them, as well as my locally created queues. The upgrade has silently modified the CUPS configuration and the BrowsePoll directive has been moved to a cups-browsed.conf file. However it does seem to be taken into account, I can see some shared printers on the local network, and my locally created ones, but not those from printserver. Is there a fix ?
