What I see from the logs there is that your wired interface gets reset
very often; this might be indicative of an issue with the network, not
the system itself (or NM). If you use a different location to plug your
system (or even a different building, at home, whatnot), do you still
get the same low performance?

Setting Incomplete for now until we can know more. If performance
doesn't improve, this will need to be looked at by the kernel engineers,
since something might be going on at the driver level.

** Changed in: network-manager (Ubuntu)

Title:
network connection very slow with msi 7673 internal NIC

Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
Using stock MSI 7673 board with the following setup:

  Quad-core i5
  16 GB DDR3 ram
  Radeon 5770 GFX card
MSI 7673 Mobo with stock NIC

  Running stock natty, installed today.

What I expect to happen: To be able to download from the ubuntu
archives faster than 20 KB/s (My university has 70MB down and 50 MB
  up).

What happens: Packages download at 20 kb/s, and the fastest download
  rate I have gotten is 100 KB/s

I would like help fixing this please.
