Steps to reproduce: * Log in into GNOME Flashback (Metacity) session. * Open Libreoffice Calc. * Click on the "Borders" item on the toolbar and select the first option. After that, gnome-panel will be invisible. However, it is still there, and restarting Metacity makes it show again. This does not happen when using Compiz. See the screencast attached.
