Please sync meanwhile 1.0.2-5 (main) from Debian unstable (main)
Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
* Patch aclocal.m4 and configure to support ppc64el.
Debian uses dh-autoreconf, which achieves the same goal of supporting ppc64el.
