Public bug reported: the dell is connected to a stereo amp with speakers and sub-woofer. it plays sounds for Rythnmbox, email and system, but did not play sound of the dvd. it did play the video. not familar with SPDIF. last ran FreeBSD servers and workstation, no music or dvds.
