Hi,
My Scanner, a Umax AstraSlim SE is not working correctly. The Images all look
like

under http://www.sane-project.org/sane-mfgs.html#Z-UMAX the
Scanner is reported with Status "Good".

I had to :
- download the firmware here
http://www.google.fr/search?hs=qja&hl=fr&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Afr%3Aunofficial&q=download+Artec48.usb&btnG=Rechercher&meta=
or get it from from the cd.
- replace my existing /etc/sane.d/artec_eplus48u.conf with this one :
