Since this bug hasn't been touched in a while and the Incomplete
autoclose didn't work, I'm going to close it.

If you can still reproduce on a new version of Ubuntu, please reopen it.

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: openoffice.org2-impress

  This attachment is an example of a file that cuts off the top of the
  text in vertical text boxes. It occurs when printing to my real laser
  printer and to a virtual pdf CUPS printer (see following .pdf
  attachment).

  Using Ubuntu 8.04
  Impress version 1:2.4.0-3ubuntu1
