Public bug reported: When dealing with high-resolution smooth scrolling devices, e.g. some Logitech mice after being configured with Solaar, and scrolling on touchpads, Compiz's scroll-based hotkeys are not properly isolated from Gtk+3 applications.
For example, in Gtk3 nautilus, try using Super+Scroll or Alt+Scroll to zoom in/out or change the window opacity, while the cursor rests above a scrollable area. Notice that doing that with a normal mouse properly swallows the scroll events so that they don't hit the Nautilus window, but compiz does not do the same for smooth-scrolling devices. affects ubuntu/compiz -- Kind regards, Loong Jin ** Affects: compiz (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to compiz in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1414540 Title: compiz does not swallow mousewheel hotkeys properly when dealing with smooth scrolling Status in compiz package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: When dealing with high-resolution smooth scrolling devices, e.g. some Logitech mice after being configured with Solaar, and scrolling on touchpads, Compiz's scroll-based hotkeys are not properly isolated from Gtk+3 applications.
