Thanks for taking your time to report this issue and help making Ubuntu better.
>From what I can find, the string in question seems to be this one [1], which also originally states "The partition tables of the following devices are changed:". Though from the context this appears in, I would guess this is the list of changes which will take place _if_ the user proceeds. (Marking confirmed based on your screenshot) [1] https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/utopic/+source/debian-installer/+pots/debian-installer/de/491/+translate ** Package changed: xorg (Ubuntu) => debian-installer (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: debian-installer (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed ** Tags added: vivid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1429470 Title: Kubuntu Vivid 1 Beta 15.04 installation: Partition table altered before user agreed according to german text Status in debian-installer package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: At first: I didn't check whether the partition table really was altered. When the user clicks on "Install now", the installer shows the user what will be happen if he agrees to install kubuntu. In german it reads in the summary "The partition table of the following devices _have been_ altered". Is the partition table really altered without the users agreement or is this just a translation fault? Screenshot attached.
