Just installed "Fedora 21" - installation is a bit ruggish. But language support is 100% working :o)
I have danish keymapping on console and can switch between Danish / English in the "Region & Language" settings menu without problems. I believe that Ubuntu Gnome 15.04 installation have not been properly configured to support foreign languages (with exception of the few major languages). Ubuntu Gnome in need of proper language support in both Console and GUI - may choose to switch to Fedora 21 for now - until Ubuntu Gnome project fixes language problems. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1368712 Title: language cannot be selected under Region and Language in Settings Status in GNOME Control Center: New Status in Ubuntu GNOME: New Status in gnome-control-center package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Ubuntu-Gnome testing i.e. 14.10 + latest updates installed.
