Public bug reported: BQ Aquaris. I have installed OTA 3.5 but no data now and no data previously (I mean ever). Calls, SMS and wifi work fine.
APN setting panel shows EE in the list as default. That is the host network but is not my service provider. Setting Custom with the details as instructed by my service provider and then ticking Custom does not work because the tick is not remembered when the field is closed. Setting EE similarly does not work because the tick is not remembered. Setting 'Same APN as for internet' in the MMS APN setting results in a permanent tick which is persistent and cannot be removed. Ticking Custom for SMS instead is ignored (although the tick does move until the field is closed). I have never seen 'H' or '3g' symbols on the BQ. Guessing that the EE default allocated automatically when the SIM is inserted is blocking any new settings. I have only one SIM in use. ** Affects: network-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to network-manager in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1455987 Title: Cannot set APN.
