Title:
Nothing happens when trying to join invite only xmpp room

Status in “empathy” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: empathy

I'm trying to join an chat room on a xmpp server. After clicking "Join"
nothing happens.
The debug log says "common_request_channel_cb: got error: room is invite
only" so
is suppose the room is invite only. Empathy should tell this to user instead
of failing silently.

This might be related to #540525
