Most frequently I used to use only Right Shift for layout switching, but tested also all the other options from the menu and none of them work. This has major impact on users using multiple keyboard layouts (myself using up to 5 typically) and switching between them quickly is important. Though there are bug reports for earlier versions also, some of them marked as "Fix Released", the issue persists in Ubuntu GNOME 15.04 w/ GNOME 3.14. [Test Case] Fire up GNOME Control Centre > Keyboard settings > Change options for layout switching using modifier keys (pop-up menu appears) > add desired function ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 15.04 Package: gnome-settings-daemon 3.14.2-3ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.19.0-21.21-generic 3.19.8 Uname: Linux 3.19.0-21-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.17.2-0ubuntu1.1 Architecture: amd64 CurrentDesktop: GNOME Date: Tue Jun 30 16:22:55 2015 InstallationDate: Installed on 2015-06-20 (10 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu-GNOME 15.04 "Vivid Vervet" - Release amd64 (20150422) SourcePackage: gnome-settings-daemon UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-settings-daemon/+bug/1470130/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
