I'm trying but I can't reproduce this :( Are there any special steps you're taking to do so? I guess it's in some way related to certain configurations. If you're able, could you get a backtrace manually yourself using gdb? https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash#Installing_debug_symbols_manually https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Backtrace#Generation Cheers, -- Iain Lane [ i...@orangesquash.org.uk ] Debian Developer [ la...@debian.org ] Ubuntu Developer [ la...@ubuntu.com ] -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to evolution in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1492318 Title: evolution crashed with signal 5 in g_object_new_valist() Status in evolution package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: on sending an email, evolution crashed with signal 5 in g_object_new_valist() for some reason, the crash report is not being uploaded to launchpad via apport or ubuntu-bug /var/crash/_usr_bin_evolution.1000.crash, but i'll attach the .crash file here To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution/+bug/1492318/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
