Matching subscriptions: dp-unity https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1182794 Title: Screenshot plugin + unityshell: Screenshot selection rectangle disappears when mouse stops moving Status in Compiz: In Progress Status in unity package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: Note: This bug is just reproducable with unityshell plugin enabled. [How to reproduce] 1. Enable screenshot plugin 2. Activate the screenshot, draw the selection box 3. Hold the mousebutton and stop moving [What you would expect to happen] The selection box should be visible until you release the button and actually take the screenshot. [What actually happens] If unityshell is enabled, Unity's constant whole-screen-damaging confuses Compiz and makes the selection rectangle disappear. Workaround: Disable unityshell plugin.
