Title:
Dash sometimes incorrectly returns no search results

Status in unity-lens-applications package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
I intermittently get no results when searching the dash (Ubuntu 14.04
64bit). It seems to depend on typing speed/have a random element,
however here is a way which consistently reproduces the error for me
  (with Firefox installed):

  - Copy the word 'firefox' to clipboard
  - Open the dash (super key) and paste (ctrl+v) - Firefox result appears after
a short pause
  - Press ctrl+backspace to clear search, then immediately ctrl+v again
  - Message appears 'sorry, nothing matches your search' after a short pause

This seems to only happen on the 'home' lens and not the
'applications' lens specifically. It works with other applications too
  e.g. 'calculator'.
