Sorry folks, but as part of the bug clean up ahead of 16.04 LTS I'm marking this as invalid because it affects an Ubuntu release which is now unsupported. During this ~1 second animation, any attempt to move the mouse pointer is frustrated by an immediate return to its original position. I’m using 0.7.7+git20080807-0ubuntu1 on intrepid amd64, but I’ve also seen this in several older versions.
