The monitor connected to the External VGA monitor port recognises the computer.
Ubuntu does not recognise the monitor whereas Microsoft Windows does.

  I connected two external monitors to my computer HP EliteBook 840:
  Samsung S2RC450 over HDMI and Samsung SyncMaster 22BW over VGA.  The
  other connection is not visible in Ubuntu (xrandr says "DP2
  disconnected").
