Public bug reported: Xmir -rootless: Shaped windows (like xeyes or oclock) show junk instead of transparency.
In the past I had some success solving this by switching the default depth from 24-bit to 32-bit. However that created new problems (I forget). ** Affects: xorg-server (Ubuntu) Importance: Medium Status: New ** Tags: xmir -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to xorg-server in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1512609 Title: Xmir -rootless: Shaped windows (like xeyes or oclock) show junk instead of transparency Status in xorg-server package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Xmir -rootless: Shaped windows (like xeyes or oclock) show junk instead of transparency.
