Public bug reported: I am running Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS
When running Ubuntu 12 the Dia graphics application installed and functioned normally. I later uninstalled Dia because of under-use. Then much later, while running Ubuntu 14 LTS, I attempted to reinstall from Ubuntu Software Center. At the time, I was looking for a simple app to perform a simple task. But this installation failed. It failed to complete from the USC. The install was terminated by Ubuntu or the USC, and an error message applet was displayed. There may have been a "lack of dependencies" reported by this error message. I cannot remember exactly. I tried to uninstall. But it will not uninstall. I have tried using the Package Manager to uninstall, and to reinstall, but neither will work. I have to move tentatively, else I could render my system unusable. Looking forwrard to receiving your advice. Regards ...
