Title:
Battery icon not working in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

Status in gnome-power:
  New
Status in gnome-power-manager package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
In Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, the battery level never works correctly.
When charging, this icon is expected to change to show how full the battery
is, ranging for 20, 40, 60, 80, and 100. But it always shows 20

The battery level should change during charging, but it is still on
  20%.
