Brasero is an optionless blackbox and a monumentous piece of crap, which I (not important) as well as those who bring you your distro (important) have known for a long time.

This doesn't happen with every dvd. Libdvdcss ist installed and vlc/mplayer and totem have no issues playing the dvd.
