I cannot elaborate on the ubuntuone client situation, because I did no default install but arrived through upgrade at oneiric. My history says that its packages have been deinstalled quite a while before the upgrade; I am not using it. But re-installing did not make the emblems in nautilus re-appear anyway.
As far as I can tell, the situation is not that emblem files are missing; the feature itself is entirely absent from nautilus in oneiric. Therefore I would guess that there is no real relation to ubuntuone. Remember, the subject of this issue was "no more emblems in oneiric". Apparently I'm not alone, there is a short discussion here http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=11382967 If you would like me to open a new issue to the same effect, attributed to nautilus exclusively, I'd be glad to comply. The forum suggest in one of the reply that it's caused by upstream changes though. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/841332 Title: ubuntuone-client-gnome is not suggested/recommended by any package Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu: Invalid Status in “ubuntuone-client” package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: ubuntuone-client-gnome package (that enable integration with gnome desktop - nautilus emblems, for instance) is not recommended/suggested by any package.
