So I think that either gufw should be preinstalled or there should be some built-in way in the gnome-control-center to configure iptables and also set what to do with incoming and outgoing traffic, and perhaps have the ability to create, import, and export profiles for these settings etc. I am running Ubuntu GNOME 15.10 with GNOME 3.18.
