Hi Wolf, Can you try install hplip from auto-installer package 'hplip-3.15.11.run' file. You can download the file from here http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-web/gethplip.html.
Run command 'sh hplip-3.15.11.run' to install hplip package. Let us know if the issue is still reproducing.
