Cannot make Chromium my default browser

Bug description:
Dear all,
After an upgrade to Ubuntu 15.10 I no longer can make Chromium the
default browser.
Clicking on the button (see attached screenshot) doesn't make it the
default browser.
Can someone reproduce this?
