Title: Xubuntu-session not possible after trying Xfce-session Status in “lightdm” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: After trying the Xfce-session, the Xubuntu-session won't come up. I can select Xubuntu-session, but after login it is still the Xfce-session. This remains after several reboots. I solved it for me to go to TTY with Ctrl+Alt+F1, and renamed .config/xfce4 in .config/xfce4.old and after reboot everything Xfce was back to Xubuntu 11.10 defaults ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.10 Package: lightdm 1.0.1-0ubuntu6 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.0.0-12.20-generic 3.0.4 Uname: Linux 3.0.0-12-generic i686 ApportVersion: 1.23-0ubuntu3 Architecture: i386 Date: Fri Oct 28 21:36:58 2011 InstallationMedia: Xubuntu 11.10 "Oneiric Ocelot" - Release i386 (20111012) ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, no user) LANG=nl_NL.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: lightdm UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lightdm/+bug/883249/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
